Wax and Polishing

Home / Wax and Polishing

After your vehicle is cleaned and detailed, the final, crucial step is protecting that perfect finish. Waxing and Polishing (Sealing) are not just about adding shine; they are about creating a sacrificial barrier between your vehicle’s delicate clear coat and the harsh environment.

At Royal Touch Car Wash, we offer professional application of high-quality waxes and durable synthetic sealants to enhance your paint’s gloss, depth, and provide essential, lasting protection.

Our Professional Protection Options

We offer two primary types of protection, each offering different benefits and longevity:

1. Traditional Carnauba Wax

  • What it is: A natural wax derived from the Brazilian Carnauba Palm.

  • Key Benefits: Known for providing the deepest, warmest, and wettest-looking shine, particularly noticeable on dark-coloured vehicles.

  • Longevity: Typically lasts 4 to 8 weeks under normal driving conditions.

  • Recommended for: Enthusiasts seeking the ultimate natural gloss, or for seasonal application.

2. Synthetic Polymer Sealant (Polishing)

  • What it is: A lab-created, advanced blend of polymer resins that chemically bond to your paint’s clear coat.

  • Key Benefits: Offers superior durability, resilience, and protection against detergents, acid rain, and UV rays. Provides a sharp, high-definition, brilliant shine.

  • Longevity: Typically lasts 4 to 6 months, depending on environmental exposure and washing frequency.

  • Recommended for: Maximum protection, all-weather driving, and long-lasting results.

Our Application Process

For both Wax and Sealant, we ensure a clean, perfect application:

  1. Preparation (Essential): The car must be perfectly clean. We conduct a thorough exterior wash and may recommend a Tar Removal or Clay Bar treatment prior to application, as the product must bond directly to the clean clear coat, not to surface dirt.

  2. Product Application: The chosen Wax or Sealant is applied thinly and evenly across all painted surfaces using a machine polisher or soft foam applicator, ensuring even coverage.

  3. Curing Time: The product is allowed to cure (or haze) for the manufacturer-specified time, allowing the bonding process to occur.

  4. Final Buffing: The cured residue is gently buffed off using premium, clean microfiber towels to reveal a deep, streak-free, and protected shine.
